Day 01: Istanbul
Arrival at Istanbul airport and transfer to the hotel by our representative. Accommodation
Day 02: Istanbul
Breakfast. Departure in the morning to visit the Rustem Pasha Mosque, famous for its large amount of tiles of different geographical shapes and floral decorations. Then we do one of the most famous activities in Istanbul, a boat trip in the Bosphorus, the canal that separates Europe and Asia. During this tour you can see the palaces of the sultans and the old wooden traditional houses and enjoy the history in a different way. We’ll end our day with a visit to one of the most prominent landmarks, the Spice Souk, built by the Ottomans 5 centuries ago and used ever since. Free time to enjoy. End
Day 03: Istanbul – Ankara – Cappadocia
Breakfast and departure in the morning to Ankara through the mountains of Bolu. In Ankara, visit the mausoleum of Ataturk. In 1953 this mausoleum dedicated to the founder of modern Turkey, Ataturk, was opened. It is a block of marble with columns weighing 40 tons, accessed by a long street surrounded by lions on either side of it, ending in a huge square. Departure to Cappadocia via Turkey’s largest lake Tamazuj, Lake Salt. Arrival at the hotel in Cappadocia. Dinner & Accommodation
Day 04: Istanbul – Kusadasi
Breakfast and departure in the morning to Kusadasi, and after lunch we visit the best preserved ancient city in Asia. Then we visit the house of Mary. Dinner & Accommodation
Day 05: Kusadasi – Patmos
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we move to the port for a three-night cruise in the islands of Greece with a full board meal. Access to the island of Patmos. Night on the ship
Day 06: Rhodes
Arrival in Rhodes. Full day on the beautiful island of Rhodes. At the top of the Lindos Hills is located the ancient Acropolis. The Knights of Saints John left the island, leaving behind the ancient fortified city. Traces of the Turkish occupation appear in Turkish minarets, mosques and baths. Night on the ship
Day 07: Heraklion – Santorini
Arrival in Heraklion. We will have time to visit the ancient port of Venice and the capital of Crete where we can tour the long and varied beaches and archaeological sites such as the Palace of Saints Knossos which was a Minoan palace, the Archaeological Museum, etc. Return to the ship to proceed to Santorini. Day 08: Athens
Breakfast. Disembarkation. Transfer to Athens.
